It was bonus day for Milo, our dog, as my wife had to leave early for work.
Usually he only gets one Kong of treats whenever we leave, but as I had to run out this morning, he got a bonus Kong.
Oddly he doesn’t look as excited as I was singing it. He was probably thinking “Stop singing already and give me the Kong!”

Anyway, I woke up this morning with a scratchy throat. My wife nicely asked if I was getting sick. I told her, “Yes,” because who doesn’t like a little “I’m getting sick” sympathy.

I mean, it is one of those life events that adults currently have to go through, and you youngins, if you’re lucky, by the time you turn fifty they’ll have some scanner that just says, “Congratulations, no colon cancer for you!”

I suppose age isn’t the problem, it’s really my shape as I make kind of a chubby snow angel. While I apologize for my being out of breath a bit while singing this song, it was fun reliving my childhood and playing in the snow.

Last night, in a dream, I was sitting at a sporting event and someone brought me a giant pizza.
It was pepperoni. It looked awesome. The problem is that our dog, Milo, decided to bark at something just as I was ready to see if the pizza tasted as good as it looked.
Right now I’m mad at Milo. And I want pizza.

The roads were sloppy, even kind of slippery, yet all of those around me seemed to be in a hurry while I was driving to work.
I suppose they all must really love their jobs, what being in that big a hurry, and all. Maybe, though, they would be better off slowing down a bit, noticing the world around them, and stay safe. Really, what did the dude who was tailgating me really save in time when he blew past me? It couldn’t have been more than a few minutes.
Oh well, I enjoyed my drive and stayed safe.
