I don’t know if I should be happy or sad, but the other question is “Should I have just stayed home?”
We had a little home repair scheduled today, and the window when the workers would arrive was 9am to 12pm.
It’s kind of a crappy window of time, especially for trying to plan anything, but there was also the hope, in the back of my head, that they might show up around Noon thereby giving a reason to play hookey from work all day.
Then my phone rang.
Yup, they had a cancellation and could be at the house before 8am if I wanted. Alas, they got their work done, and I have no excuse but to go to work. I’m still not sure if I’m happy or sad about this.
