On the way to my day job there is a coffee shop and grilled called Fred’s Place. On their sign they proudly announce “We serve 1/2 pound burgers,” as if to taunt me as I drive by.
The odd thing is I haven’t stopped there to eat, yet. It looks like an awesome diner, gets mostly good reviews, but I keep resisting it’s greasy-spoon charm. 
My other fear is that I’ll completely love it, they supposedly have a great breakfast sandwich, but for now I just hunger for that 1/2 pound burger.
