When I recorded this, there was a cold blast and I was struggling with Seasonal Effective Disorder a little more, just making me SAD.
I know there isn’t much I can do about it, so maybe next time I should just embrace the cold and snow, and look forward to Spring.

I’m usually pretty good about getting out of bed when the alarm rings. I’m not one to hit the snooze button for an hour.
I’m not saying I’m always excited to get out of bed, but most of the time I accept it and get going.

Our dog, Milo, is pretty much set in his ways, so much so that when we moved a chair, he still ran around in the same pattern as if the chair was still there.
And yes, I recorded this song a while ago, hence the winter coat even though it’s September.

I’ve always been a weird sleeper.
Normally I’m a light sleeper where the smallest of noises will wake me up. Other nights I sleep like a rock. Some nights I wake up thinking I slept like crap but feel great all day, while other times I think I slept great but feel like crap all day.
I’m blaming sleep. Sleep is weird.

Every now and then, on the way to work, there appears to be less traffic, I get green lights, and somehow it seems like the drive is almost effortless.
I like days like that.

There I stood, at the gas pump, sliding my credit card in and out of the slot thingy.
“Transaction canceled – See cashier.”
I didn’t want to see the cashier, I figured their system was broken, so I drove to another gas station.
In goes the card, up comes the “Transaction canceled” notice.
Then I realized I was putting in the wrong zip code.
I felt like a moron.
