I did the impossible, and I want credit for it.
Without my wife asking, without a subtle nudge, and without her having to do it for me, I threw away a pair of socks. I kind of felt bad for them as one of the socks was perfectly fine, but the other had some issues. 
I thanked it for covering my feet nicely all of these years, then threw them both in the garbage so they could be together, forever, like socks are meant to be, and decided to commemorate the event in song.
