When You’re Sick

This week has sucked with my fighting general sickness, even to the point of going to my doctor. Ugh. I hate going to the doctor for my yearly check-up, even more when sick. She gave me some meds, though, and hopefully I’m on my way to feeling better.  I’m lucky, though, because I have a great woman who takes care of me when I’m sick. Milo has also been great because he’s a dog that likes to cuddle when you are sick.

Be Happy, Spring is Here!

I was mostly happy that Spring was here, except that I wasn’t feeling that great yesterday, the first day of Spring. I woke up and felt kind of icky, then made my morning drive, and recorded my song. Ickyness continued, even to the point that I didn’t even have the gumption to post my song. I know, so much for dedication.

Right now I’m feeling a little better after sleeping for about 14 hours. I figured I would post my “Spring” song before I feel like “Winter” again.

Eggs With No Bangers

Last year was a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day as I had bangers with my eggs. This year St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Friday during Lent, so it’s no meat for me, although there are some religious clergy saying it’s okay to eat meat today, which to me just seems like a slap in the face of the whole point of giving up meat on Fridays during Lent.

In this blast from the past song, a #TBT as it will, Bangers and Eggs, last year I was able to eat Bangers because St. Patrick’s Day was on a standard day of the week. This year it’s on a Friday, so it will be just eggs. Maybe I’ll sing a song called “Eggs but No Bangers.”

Lake Effect Snow

We had lake effect snow which doesn’t happen that often in Illinois. What was really crappy is that it happened during Spring, well, at least meteorological Spring, as opposed to astrological Spring.

I Want My Kong
