I find it weird how we celebrate Friday, especially in the morning. I mean, you still have a day of work to get through. In the end, though, I guess I don’t care because it is Friday, the weekend is close, and it’s time to celebrate!

Here in Chicago summer is over and fall is here.
That doesn’t mean the good weather is gone, it’s just starting to shift to “fall” weather, and eventually the wonderfullness of winter.

My wife and I went to Austin. I still miss it. So does she.
I miss the food, the people, the music, and especially the fact that they had a record high temperature of 91 degrees while we visited. Meanwhile, back at home, you could add 9 and 1 and get close to the temperature.
I really hope to go back someday, but for now, I have this song and pictures.

Years ago, after a “flipping off” of my niece, I was told that I have sausage fingers.
Yup, short, stubby fingers appeare to be my curse. Then my wife pointed out that I had a squishy nose. Yes, I am cursed with fingers like sausages and a nose that isn’t very solid.
